I am blessed with the passion of caring for those critters God put in our path who cannot help themselves but suffer in silence.  Road Apple Acres was not created to rescue healthy horses.  We rescue those in need of a good loving home.  Incoming applicants are by board member vote, on circumstance and rehabability.  We are a non-profit and graciously accept public donations such as dollars, gift certificates, hay bales, sack grain, medical supplies and towels.  Our volunteers help clean corrals and shed the horses in the spring.  We attempt to help terminal patients in their Make-A-Wish with horses.
